255 Aquamarine – 579g & 95x80x73mm – is a precious stone consisting of a light bluish-green variety of Beryl (a mineral composed of beryllium aluminium cyclosilicate). Pure Beryl is colourless, but it is frequently tinted by impurities; possible colours are green, blue, yellow, red (the rarest), and white.
